When to delete PDF pages
Scanners pick up blank reverse sides, and documents you receive often come wrapped in a cover sheet or a page of notices. You want to send the useful part, but a couple of stray pages mean forwarding the whole thing.
This tool lets you pick the pages to drop in a preview and builds a new PDF from whatever is left.
How to use it
- 1Upload the PDF. Enter the password first if the file has one.
- 2Click the pages you want gone. Click again to unselect one you picked by mistake.
- 3Press "Delete n selected pages".
- 4Open the result and check nothing you needed went missing.
Common questions
- Does this change my original file?
- No. The remaining pages are gathered into a new file that downloads to your device. The original on your computer is untouched.
- Can I delete every page?
- At least one has to stay — you'll get a message if you select them all. If you don't need the document at all, deleting the file itself is the right move.
- Do the remaining pages turn into images?
- No. The pages you keep are carried over as they are, so text stays selectable and searchable. Formatting and links generally survive too.
- I'd rather reorder than delete.
