When to merge PDFs
When your paperwork comes in two or three separate files, every submission gets messier. A résumé and a portfolio, a contract and its attachments — send them one by one and the person receiving them has to hunt, while you risk leaving something out.
Merge PDF puts those files into one document, in the order you choose. Nothing to install. The work stays in your browser.
How to use it
- 1Add the PDFs you want to combine. You can drop several at once.
- 2If a file is password-protected, enter the password for that file in the list.
- 3Drag the list into the right order. The top file becomes the first pages.
- 4Click “Merge and download.” The combined PDF should save to your device.
Common questions
- Do my files get uploaded to a server?
- No. Merging runs only in your browser, on your computer. The files don’t leave your machine, which makes this a calmer choice for personal documents.
- Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
- Yes, if you know the password. Protected files show an input field in the list. Enter the correct password or that file won’t be included.
- Is there a size or file-count limit?
- There’s no server quota. Your browser’s memory is the real limit — very large files or dozens at once can slow things down. In that case, merge in smaller batches.
- I got the order wrong. Can I redo it?
- Of course. Rearrange the list and merge again. If you already downloaded a version you don’t like, just start over.
