When to turn PNGs into a PDF

Screenshots and diagrams often have to be submitted as a document. Sending a folder of PNGs makes the recipient open them one at a time in the right order.

This tool binds PNG images into a single PDF. Each image is centred on an A4 page at its original proportions.

How to use it

  1. 1Upload the PNGs you want in the PDF. Several at once is fine.
  2. 2Set the order in the list — the top image becomes the first page.
  3. 3Press convert to build the PDF.
  4. 4Open the file and check nothing was cropped.

Common questions

How is the page size decided?
A4, turned landscape automatically when the image is wider than it is tall. The image is scaled to fit and centred, keeping its proportions.
What happens to transparent areas?
Transparency is carried through, but in most viewers and in print it simply looks like white paper behind the image. If the background matters, set a colour before you upload.
Can I mix in JPGs?
This page is for PNGs. Use JPG to PDF for photos.
The file came out quite large.
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, which gets heavy for photographs. For photos, save them as JPG first and use JPG to PDF instead.
