When to reorder PDF pages

Scans come out shuffled, or a page you added later needs to move to the front. Opening a full editor feels like overkill, and rescanning is worse.

This tool lets you drag thumbnails into the order you want and saves the result as a new PDF.

How to use it

  1. 1Upload the PDF you want to reorder.
  2. 2Drag thumbnails into place. Each one shows which position it originally held.
  3. 3Press "Save in this order".
  4. 4Open the file and check the sequence is right.

Common questions

Will the text or formatting break?
No. Pages are carried over as they are, so text, search, and links generally survive intact.
Dragging is tedious with a lot of pages.
For very long documents it can be faster to cut sections apart with Split PDF and then reassemble them in the order you want with Merge PDF.
I want to remove some pages, not move them.
Reordering doesn't remove anything. Use Delete PDF Pages to drop them, or Extract PDF Pages to pull out just the ones you need.
What happens to my original?
It stays as it is. The reordered version downloads as a separate new file.
