How to sign a contract without printing it

One signature turns into switching on the printer, printing, signing, then finding a scanner. If there's no paper in the tray or the scanner is in another office, the whole thing slips a day.

Signing on screen and returning the PDF immediately removes that loop entirely. Draw it with a mouse or a finger, or upload a signature image you prepared earlier.

Step by step

  1. 1Have the contract ready as a PDF.
  2. 2Open the e-signature tool with the button below and upload it.
  3. 3Draw on the signature pad, or upload a PNG signature with a transparent background.
  4. 4Pick the page, click where the signature should sit in the preview, and download.

Worth knowing first

  • This places a signature image into the document. It isn't a certificate-based digital signature — for contracts with legal requirements, use a proper e-signature service.
  • One page per run. If several places need signing, upload the result and repeat.
  • A white box around the signature means the PNG you uploaded has no transparent background. Drawing on the pad avoids it.
  • Both the signature and the contract are handled entirely in your browser. Nothing is stored on a server.
